Allied has completed the installation of acoustically rated flush-glazed partitions and doors, all with an integrated privacy blind, as part of the new state-of-the-art Cardiology Unit for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.

Developed in conjunction with MOLA Architecture, the Children’s Heart Centre includes a 25-bed dedicated infant and child cardiac unit as well as support accommodation for families and staff, and was built at a cost of €4.5 million.

System Specification:

– A 100mm thick glazed partition system, including doors

– Acoustics: Glazed fixed panels Rw 48db and glass door Rw 39dB

– The system is flush glazed for hygiene

– 25mm solid slat Venetian Blinds – dual operated (both sides) to screens

– Blinds fitted within glazed fixed panels and glass doors, all operable to provide privacy
