As part of the redevelopment of the Health Sciences Campus at Queens University Belfast, Allied  was commissioned to fit out a vertical 6-storey extension to the existing 2-storey Anatomy Building.

The new steel framed extension was built on the roof of the Anatomy building adjacent to the existing Medical Biology Centre tower block and included break-ins to the tower for circulation at each of the six levels.

Allied supplied and installed Komfort Polar Single Glazed Office Partitioning and Doors throughout the new building, in addition to special Fire Rated Glazed Screens located at stairwells (manufactured to provide a 120 minute fire performance rating) and internal walls (providing a 90 minute rating).
