Allied have recently completed the supply and installation of washroom fit outs to this fully refurbished six storey over basement Grade A office building. We worked alongside Dunwoody & Dobson and Fitzgerald Associates in great detail to achieve the architects vision for small but very interesting washrooms, male and female over 5 levels.
As space was restricted the use of reflective surfaces such as glass and high gloss laminate was important and the marriage between surfaces and junction details were also critical to discussions at the early stage and to the workshop drawings. Lighting and tiling played a huge role in the finished aesthetic of the space.
Allied supplied and fitted icon glass Cubicles with doors in 10mm ceramic baked glass and dividers in 10.76mm laminate glass. Sentry IPS hinged system in a white high gloss surface finish was choosing to combine with the glass colour of the cubicles. The vanity unit area was a mixture of glass, high gloss laminate and corian which when combined created a fantastic finish. All products combined gave the space area in each washroom a much bigger feel and appearance than what it was in reality. Allied were very happy with the finished look and we delivered it on time and in budget for client and main contractor.
This unique office building is located close to the junction of St. Stephen’s Green West and Kildare Street. St. Stephen’s Green is one of Ireland’s most prestigious squares in the heart of Dublin City and is long established as the capital’s cultural and business centre.
