The Civic and Conference Centre is a prominent and recognisable building in the borough of Craigavon. The facility boasts a suite of multipurpose rooms and an octagonal auditorium, the venue is a popular location for meetings, conferences, concerts, festivals and weddings.

The Centre is also home to the new headquarters of Armagh Banbridge and Craigavon Council, with  the main Council Chamber and offices undergoing a major refurbishment in order to accommodate the 41 new councillors and administrative personnel.

Allied was successful in securing the contract to supply and install Komfort Double Glazed Fire Rated Screens complete with Timber Doors as part of the refurbishment.

The double screens incorporated Komfort’s “ghost post” with integrated venetian blinds, with a 30 minute fire performance rating, in addition to achieving an acoustic performance rating of 46dB(Rw).  The timber doors achieved an acoustic performance rating of 35dB(Rw).
