Goodbody Stockbrokers is Ireland’s longest established stockbroking firm with roots dating back to 1877. As well as being one of the leading institutional brokers, it is one of the largest private client firms in Ireland. The company has offices in Dublin, Galway and Cork. It employs 222 people and owns 26.2 per cent of the Irish Stock Exchange.
Henry J Lyons Architects were appointed to refurbish their existing offices in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, and part of the refurbishment included the executive floor washrooms where both client and architect felt very strong about creating a luxurious feel to the space which would be both staff and client facing. Beautiful finishes were chosen including dark woods for cubicle doors and IPS panelling, cream laminates for dividers within the cubicles and a rich marble stone for the vanity units, all pulled together with high spec sanitary ware and large porcelain floor and wall tiles.
The systems chosen were the Thrislington Oasis Full height Cubicles and Sentry IPS. The full height giving the privacy that staff had requested and the quality that Management knew would last a lifetime and give the correct impression as clients entered the new washroom environment.
Allied were delighted to be chosen to work with Mac and Henry J Lyons to create the perfect bathroom for Goodbody Stockbrokers. We met all important key dates and all parties were very happy with the overall look and feel of the 5th Floor washrooms. They are also delighted that Allied can offer the Thrislington 10 Year Standard Guarantee which gives them peace of mind that their investment is going to remain in perfect condition for a minimum of 10 years and hopefully beyond if maintained on a regular basis.
As the saying goes, “never judge a book by it’s cover” but as we say “judge a company by the quality of it’s washrooms!
