1997

Opening

Formed in 1997 by Tim Evans. Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Director with over 20 years experience at senior management level focusing on Procurement, Contracts and Supplier management.

1999

Komfort

Partnered with Komfort plc., supplier and manufacturer of partitioning systems along with specialist glazing and doors, for commercial fit outs.

Darren

Darren Lynch joins Allied as Sales and Specification Manager.

2000

Marianne O’Dwyer

Marianne O’Dwyer joins Allied in 2000 as Financial Manager (IATI, Nat Dip HR), and has recently celebrated her 16th year anniversary working with the Company.

2001

Eddy Sherry

Eddie Sherry rejoins Allied as Contracts Manager having left to further his studies.

2003

kbc

Completed the fitout for KBC Bank HQ in Dublin 2 with multiple packages including the Single Source Service.

Award UCD

Allied awarded first fire rated steel screen project over 1 million euro at UCD Health Science Complex.

2004

Single Source Service

Development of Single Source Service to cater for more complex projects. This involves non standard or bespoke systems Allied Ireland can provide single source responsibility for your fit out needs, assisting you from design and development stage through to successful completion of your project.

Completed the design and installation of structural glazing for the State Laboratories, Backweston using the Single Source Service.

2005

Department of Finance

Allied were awarded the very first ‘Decentralised’ project – the Department of Finance in Tullamore.

Dunnes

Awarded the design and installation of the Dunnes Stores HQ, St Great Georges Street, Dublin for over 2 million euros. The project includes a full fitout of all three blocks that included over 15m high 60/60 fire rated screens to stair wells, and many other complex packages again using the…

CPD

Introduced in-house training. By focusing on the individual needs of the practice, we can deliver highly practical sessions targeting specific areas for improvement.

2007

Jane Delaney

Jane Delany, Associate Director, celebrates 10 years with Allied in 2017.  Previously Jane worked in Walls to Workstations and MJ Flood. Jane specializes in the specification of Washroom Systems, Locker Room Design and has a wealth of experience in sourcing Furniture across Europe.

2008

Northern Ireland

Allied concentrates on the Northern Ireland market.

St Anne’s Convent Booterstown

Allied completed the first 60/60 fire rated glass floor at St Anne’s Convent Booterstown.

2009

Thrislington Cubicles partnership

Allied sign contract with Thrislington Cubicles, the European market leader, to promote their products in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Gateway building

Allied awarded the fist building to be built in the Titanic Quarter, the Gateway building, the new CitiGroup HQ.

First LEED Project

Gateway is one of Europe’s greenest and most efficient buildings, receiving a Gold ‘LEED’ certification for its advanced design features.  Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

2010

CP Lockers partnership

Allied complete the formal relationship with CP Lockers in Germany, the world’s largest manufacrer, for Ireland and the UK.

2011

Niall Noonan

Niall Noonan, Contract Manager for Komfort Ireland, joins Allied.

2012

Digilock on board

Allied sign contract with Digilock, the World market leader, to promote their locks and associated products in Ireland and UK.

2013

Allied is awarded a multi-million project for the first automated order fulfillment system in Ireland with Carlow Warehousing to distribute all online orders for Smyths Toys.

First BREEAM Project

The Bord Gáis Networks Services Centre by Denis Byrne Architects and a House Extension in Dublin’s Portobello by Donal Colfer Architects were winners in the 2013 Irish Concrete Society Awards. The awards were presented for Best Commercial Building and for Best Sustainable Building.

2014

Guinness Storehouse

Allied completes a fitout in the Guinness Storehouse, Ireland’s No 1 tourist attraction.

2015

UK market

Allied is awarded a multi-million project for the first automated order fulfillment system for Smyths Toys in the UK to distribute all online orders to customers. Allied achieve sales of nearly 10 million euro in the UK.

2016

Allied’s group sales exceed 15 million euro.
