Award-Winning Irish Architects choose Thrislington Cubicles for premium commercial developments in 2023
It has been a great start to the year for Thrislington and Allied Ireland, with Thrislington’s range of cubicles being successfully installed into a number of premium commercial developments in Dublin this year, including Castleforbes, Chatham House, Clyde House, Grand Canal Square, and many more.
“We know from a history of Thrislington’s 50 years designing and installing cubicles that their cubicle systems are built to last meaning, and this can mean paying marginally more initially, however we know that quality and sustainability are key,” explains Jane Delany, Director at Allied Ireland. “For high traffic environments, in particular, investing in a quality cubicle product makes total sense – less robust solutions quickly deteriorate, and result in negative repair and replacement scenarios. We advise our partners to think ahead, invest in the best and secure a quality future.”
“There is a tangible return to quality thinking and the need for sustainable, future proof cubicle solutions from developers, contractors, architects and quantity surveyors. Choose quality, choose Thrislington.“
It’s the little things that make a huge difference in a Thrislington washroom design!
Pivoting hinges – hygienic as so easy to clean and practically invisible. Our aesthetically pleasing hinges are on the inside face of the door for both inward and outward opening doors. Our hinges can be specified fall open or fall closed, depending on the level of traffic expected in the washroom. Our Soft close hydraulics avoid the common slamming of cubicle door in washrooms.
No floor to ceiling posts required for stability – our aluminium fully framed cubicle systems whether flush or framed in appearance do not need a post for stability thus avoiding visible eye sores when you enter a washroom. Our headrail and aluminium door frames give the system it’s strength and are independent of the ceiling so no fixing required other than to the walls and floor
No visible fixings – our coat hooks , grab rails, pull handles and toilet roll holders are supported without coming through the other side of our doors or dividers. Minimalist in design and hygienic in function! Grab bars tests to 1.31kn load available.
Through fixed Locks with receivers built into our aluminium frame means the lock stays in position for the cubicles entire life which can be as many years as you want given our guarantees and maintenance programme. No such thing as changing the lock up and down the door when fixings become loose as wood screws weaken over time!
Locks are designed with less able users in mind and are easy to open with elbow or closed fist. Our locks were Covid friendly well before Covid. They have a built in anti vandal tip to avoid door or lock damage should someone try to force or lock a door open.
Three (3) methods of emergency access available including the newest offering of E-Access for fully flush inward opening cubicles.
Endless finish options and we love a challenge so bespoke designs are welcomed!
15 year guarantee as standard and 25 years if a client chooses to opt for our maintenance contract with a full health check once a year
