Formerly the Zanzibar bar and nightclub, the site forms part of the historical fabric of the Quays which over time had fallen into disrepair and lay vacant for a number of years.
The project saw the refurbishment of the Protected Façade and interior of the existing Georgian Structures looking onto the quays in line with best practice and the provision of a new bar and eatery.
An existing archway accessed from the Quays is utilised as the main entry point to a spectacular foyer serving a new 160-Bedroom Aparthotel which will extend and provide a much-required facelift to Strand Street Great.
Build to rent Accommodation has become increasingly popular in Dublin over the past few Years.
Allied installed a range of glazing products throughout this spectacular ApartHotel accommodation including
30 minute Fire Rated Glazed Doors (EI30 – Integrity Insulation) and screens enclosing the Kitchens in the Apartments throughout the building.
